Hello!  I, Mrs. Gallo, am a teacher at Hackettstown High School who co-teaches U.S. History I, U.S. History II, and American Literature courses.  I also teach a course in Study Skills.

My educational background includes a Masters Degree in Special Education, and a Bachelors Degree with a double major in General Education and Special Education with a minor in Psychology.  I am also Highly Qualified by the State of New Jersey in the fields of Language Arts and History.

 

Some of my goals and expectations are as follows:  to have all students succeed in all classes, to have students socialize and learn with their grade level peers, to create a positive environment so that students will remember their high school years as a joyful experience.

 

Assessment is based on the following: completition of homework, class participation, and scores on projects, quizzes and tests.
