Ending Racism And Sexism Everywhere
Do you want to make a difference at Hackettstown High School and in the community? Do you think you have what it takes to stand up against racism and sexism? Make sure your voice is heard!
E.R.A.S.E. is a club that promotes the message of equality in matters of race, religion, gender and sexuality. The club meets twice a month (1st and 3rd Fridays) during the lunch hour in Room A8. At meetings we plan for events and social actions and discuss issues relevant to our agenda.
Activities include: creating displays, distributing information to the student body, writing letters to public officials and raising money for local/national charities.
Some special events in which E.R.A.S.E. has successfully participated are: the International Food Festival, International Arts Night, Denim Day, Day of Silence and Anti-Bullying week.
All students are welcome to join. Please see Ms. Orendach for more information.
