Mission Statement
 
The Hackettstown Public School District is committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive learning community where every student is valued, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.  Through strong partnerships with families and the community, students receive high-quality instruction and individualized supports to ensure meaningful participation, achievement of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards, and success academically, socially, and emotionally to become positive, contributing members of a global society.

HPSD Strategic Planning
 
Hackettstown Public School District’s has completed its Strategic Planning process for the 5-year plan from 2026-2031. The strategic planning process ensures that our goals, resources, and initiatives reflect the needs and aspirations of the entire school community. 
 
The Strategic Plan for 2026-2031 was be presented at the July 8, 2026 Board of Education Meeting and the full document is below.
