Dear Parents,

There are times during the school year when it becomes necessary to close the school early due to inclement weather or an emergency. In the event that we should have an early closing, it is imperative that your child know what they are to do.

This is especially important if they are to go to a neighbor or relatives' house or if someone else will be picking them up at school.

We would appreciate you making previous arrangements to alleviate as many telephone calls to the school as possible on the day of an early closing. Also, be sure to remind you child of what he/she is to do in the event of an early closing. If there is a change in the of the procedure during the school year, please notify your child.
