Mrs. Fernandez Welcomes You!
Third Grade at Hatchery Hill School
Monday, May 13, 2019, is a Day 5. Monday marks the start of the third grade NJSLA testing for Math. Students have worked hard all year and we are confident that they will do their best on the state tests! We ask that all students arrive to school on time, especially on test days. A good night's sleep, combined with a healthy breakfast, will ensure that they feel comfortable each morning. Our homework schedule will be altered this week due to testing. Please note that Friday, May 17, is an Early Dismissal day due to Professional Development.
In addition, on Days 1, students dismiss a few minutes later than normal due to the double special cycle with chorus. Thank you for your patience as we try to get the third graders dismissed as promptly as possible.
Thank you for supporting the Smiles for Margaret Foundation fundraiser! Please note that donations will still be accepted for the next few weeks.
I'd like to thank each of your for helping our class have 100% participation on Class Dojo! We can ensure quick communication and share key moments of our day with all parents now! Thank you!
All students need a daily snack. I also encourage students to bring in a reusable water bottle each day. Our classroom is peanut-free, so please pack food accordingly.
Ms. Crouse and I are excited to collaborate to make your child's third grade experience an enriching and rewarding one. My goal is to ensure that positive learning is accomplished daily, both academically and socially. The opportunity to work with your child is an honor and a responsibility that I treasure every day.
Parent/teacher communication continues to be a critical component of successful schooling. I encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns about your child. Please note that email is the fastest form of initial communication.
