    Hackettstown Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of performing arts activities that stress commitment and creativity.

    Hackettstown Middle School has four grade level choruses open to any interested student. Fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students choose to participate and are eligible to audition for the Tiger Tunes which meets after school on Tuesdays. Tiger Tunes will be participating in a choral festival this year. Last year select received an outstanding rating in their division and as well as winning the prestigious 'Esprit de Corps' award for good citizenship. Outstanding choral students also have the opportunity to audition for several honor choirs. Selected students participate in the New Jersey Elementary Honor Choir (3 in 2001), New Jersey Junior High Honor Choir (9 in 2001), North Jersey Region 1 Honor Choirs (3 in 2001) and the ACDA Eastern Division Children's Honor Choir in Pittsburgh, Pa (3 in 2002). This year four students have been selected to participate in the Eastern Division Children's Choir in Boston, MA. All chorus students will participate in the Winter Concert and Spring Concert.
