This year, Hackettstown Middle School 7th and 8th graders are invited to participate in the in Computer Technology/Graphic Arts Club as part of our overall focus on improving student participation in educational extra-curricular activities.

    The Computer Technology/Graphic Arts Club encourages students to try using Adobe Photoshop CS3, professional quality graphic design software, and experiment with 3D software, use free, web-based creative applications— including Home Design, websites, blogs and video.

    Students will also have the opportunity to work on their own independent computer-based projects, including those for school and/or outside interests including Boy/Girl Scouts, Church projects, etc. Individual assistance is available with MS Office 2007 also.

    ***Note, all school rules apply as outlined in the HMS Agenda Book and participants must abide by Computer Lab rules as well (No eating or drinking in the Labs, no horseplay, all projects will have school-appropriate themes, no music or video may be streamed without permission, respect others and equipment)***

    Seating is limited to 24 ~ Sign-up sheets will be made available to students. The first Workshop date is TBA.
