Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are vital members of the student support team, specializing in the assessment and intervention of behavioral, social, and learning challenges in school settings. Each BCBA holds a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field and is certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), bringing advanced expertise in behavior assessment, intervention design, and data-driven decision-making.
BCBAs conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify behavioral strengths, skill deficits, and environmental factors that impact a student’s academic performance and social-emotional development. Using evidence-based strategies grounded in applied behavior analysis, they develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to meet each student’s unique needs.
Working closely with students, families, teachers, and school staff, BCBAs provide training and consultation to ensure consistent implementation of interventions across classrooms and school environments. They monitor progress through systematic data collection, adjust strategies as needed, and collaborate with the broader educational team to promote positive behavior, learning, and overall school success.
By combining specialized knowledge, rigorous assessment, and collaborative practice, BCBAs help students overcome behavioral challenges, enhance functional skills, and achieve their fullest potential in the school setting.
